Overview
AI visibility is the observed or estimated presence of a brand or website in AI-search experiences. FixRank represents it through four signal types and always labels whether a signal was observed or estimated.
Signal types
- Citation — a source referenced inside an AI-generated response.
- Mention — a brand or entity named in an AI-generated response.
- Recommendation — a brand, company, or product surfaced as a suggested option.
- Source link — a link surfaced alongside an AI-generated response.
Why it is not a ranking
AI platforms do not publish ranking data. AI visibility is evidence of presence, not a position in a list.
