Run Your First Audit
Start an analysis, follow the intelligence stages, and open the final report.
Overview
A FixRank audit starts by crawling the website and creating a shared intelligence model. That model is then used by the downstream intelligence stages.
Before you start
- A FixRank account.
- A website URL.
- An available site slot under your plan.
- Remaining audit usage under your plan.
Run an audit
- 1Open the FixRank app
Go to the audit workflow.
- 2Enter the website
Enter the domain you are authorised to analyse.
- 3Start the audit
FixRank begins crawling the site.
- 4Follow the analysis
The analysis screen shows the progress of the intelligence stages.
- 5Open the final report
When processing is complete, review the report and prioritised findings.
What happens during the audit
The crawl runs first and produces the shared website intelligence. The remaining stages read from that model, so nothing is crawled twice.
- Crawl Engine — Maps the site and creates the shared website intelligence every later stage reads from.
- Audit Agent — Evaluates technical SEO and overall site health.
- Google Agent — Evaluates Google-search related signals and the search data available for the site.
- AI Visibility Agent — Analyses AI-search visibility signals across AI answer surfaces.
- Semantic Engine — Maps entities, topics, relationships, and semantic gaps.
- Content Engine — Evaluates content quality, coverage, and opportunities.
- Internal Linking Engine — Identifies structural and contextual internal linking opportunities.
- Fix Agent — Synthesises every finding into one prioritised plan.
What happens if I leave the page
Processing continues on FixRank's side. Returning to the audit shows its current status; when processing has finished, the report is available from your audit history.
There is no pause or resume control today. An audit runs to completion or ends in an error state.
Troubleshooting
- Audit does not start — check the URL, account status, and remaining usage under your plan.
- Crawl cannot reach pages — check robots.txt, authentication, redirects, and server errors.
- Fewer pages than expected — check plan page limits and internal discoverability.
